Paul Pryor

Global Mining Practice Leader | Aon

Paul has over 33 years’ experience in the mining insurance broking industry and joined Aon as Global Mining Practice Leader in February 2016 from Bowring Marsh London where he headed up their Mining Practice between 2014 and 2016.

Prior to this Paul was the Managing Principal and Mining Practice Leader for the Asia Pacific Region for Marsh from 2007 to 2014. Prior to 2007 he was the Mining Practice Leader for Alexander Forbes in South Africa for over 16 years.

Paul has a highly distinguished career in providing risk management, risk financing and complex insurance claims solutions to major mining organisations in all parts of the world. Paul is highly regarded in the insurance industry, holding excellent relationships with all key global insurance markets as well as by a number of major global and local mining organisations.

Paul is a qualified professional engineer with degrees in:

- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce

Paul is based in Melbourne but assists all regions with their respective mining specialties and client portfolios.
