Mark FitzPatrick, Group Chief Executive, Prudential plc

As Interim Group Chief Executive, Prudential plc, Mark leads the life and health insurance and asset management businesses across Asia and Africa, where Prudential plc have been providing familiar, trusted financial security for almost 100 years. Today, Prudential serves over 18 million customers by protecting their wealth, helping them grow their assets, and empowering them to save for their goals. Prudential plc is headquartered in London and Hong Kong, and ranked top three in 11 out of 13 Asian life markets, supported by 540,000 agents and over 26,000 bank branches. 

Mark is a Director of Prudential Services Limited and Pulse Ecosystems Pte. Ltd, which are wholly owned Prudential subsidiaries. He is also co-Chair of the Prudential Diversity & Inclusion Council and the Chair of the Group ESG Committee. Prior to assuming his current role in April 2022, Mark was the CFO & Chief Operating Officer at Prudential plc from 2019, and previous to this held the position of CFO from 2017. 

Before joining Prudential, Mark worked at Deloitte for 26 years, building his industry focus on insurance and investment management globally. During this time, he was Managing Partner for Clients and Markets, a member of the executive committee and a member of the board of Deloitte UK. Mark was a Vice Chairman of Deloitte for four years, leading the CFO Programme and developing the CFO Transition labs. Mark also led the Insurance & Investment Management audit practice and the insurance industry practice.
